Fuel Injector: Removal

  1. Remove air cleaner assembly. Release fuel system pressure. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove Torx screw holding injector cap. Using 2 screwdrivers inserted in slots, pry cap from injector.
  2. Using screwdriver inserted in holes on side of electrical connector, pry injector from pod. Check that lower "O" ring is removed from pod.
