Carbureted Models
- Make sure engine is fully warmed and set basic timing. Temperature sensor must be connected and operating properly.
- Remove and plug vacuum hose at vacuum transducer. Connect auxiliary vacuum supply to vacuum transducer and set for 16 in. Hg.
- Raise engine speed to 2000 RPM, wait one minute and check against specifications. Advance specifications are in addition to basic advance. If specified readings are not obtained, replace computer.
