Fuel Injected Models
- Connect timing light and tachometer to engine and warm engine to normal operating temperature. Disconnect and reconnect coolant temperature sensor connector on thermostat housing.NOTE: Power loss light must come on and stay on when coolant temperature sensor is disconnected and reconnected.
- Adjust idle RPM. Aim timing light at hole on bell housing and adjust timing by moving distributor. Turn engine off, detach and attach positive battery quick disconnect.
- Start engine and let RPM stabilize for 1 minute. Power loss lamp should be off.
