Throttle Body: Removal
- Remove air cleaner. Release fuel system pressure. Disconnect battery negative cable. Disconnect wiring connectors and vacuum lines from throttle body. Remove throttle, speed control and transmission kickdown cables as necessary.
- Remove return spring. Loosen fuel intake and return hose clamps. Twist and pull off each hose. Remove throttle body mounting screws. Lift throttle body from engine.
