Alternator - BOSCH 90-Amp: Overhaul: Reassembly

  1. Press rear bearing onto rotor shaft. Install rear bearing seal. Install inner battery terminal insulator. Install rectifier assembly. Install battery terminal insulator, washer, lockwasher and nut.
  2. Install end shield to stator and align reference marks. Using needle nose pliers as a heat sink, solder stator leads to rectifier assembly. Press front bearing into end shield.
  3. Install bearing retainer. Install stator into end shield. Install 4 through bolts. Install brushes. Install capacitor and plug in terminal. Install pulley and mounting nut.
