Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable and 6-way throttle body connector. Remove throttle position sensor mounting screws. Unclip wiring clip from convoluted tube and remove mounting bracket.
  2. Lift throttle position sensor off throttle shaft and remove "O" ring. Pull throttle position wiring from convoluted tubing.
  3. Look inside 6-way throttle body connector and lift locking tab with a small screwdriver for each TPS wire blade terminal. Noting position for reassembly, remove each blade from connector.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure. Use new "O" ring.
