Axle Shafts - Front: Description

Power from the transaxle is transferred to driving wheels by 2 axle shafts. Both axle shafts have tripod design CV joints at the transaxle end, and Rzeppa design CV joints at the wheel hub end. All models (except turbo) have unequal length axle shafts. Turbo models have 2 short equal length axle shafts. The right axle shaft (turbo only) has an intermediate shaft with support assembly mounted to engine block.
