Ignition Coil Wire
- Remove distributor cap from distributor. Leave wires connected to distributor cap and to ignition coil.
- Connect ohmmeter leads to center contact inside distributor cap and to either positive or negative terminal of ignition coil.
- If resistance is more than 25,000 ohms, remove wire from ignition coil tower and again check resistance. If resistance is more than 15,000 ohms, replace ignition coil wire.
