Front Wheel Drive Models

Clearance between throttle stud and cable clevis should be 1/16". If not, start engine and run at normal operating temperature. Remove snap ring from throttle stud. Loosen cable retaining clamp nut. Pull all slack out of cable, but do not move throttle away from curb idle position. Tighten retaining nut to 45 INCH lbs. (5 N.m).
