Front Wheel Drive Models
- Drain transaxle fluid and remove oil pan. Pressurize low-reverse servo with 30 psi air and measure gap between band ends. If less than .080" (2.0 mm), band has excess wear and should be replaced.
- To adjust A-413 and A-470 models, loosen lock nut approximately 5 turns and tighten adjusting screw to 41 INCH lbs (4.6 N.m). Back off adjusting screw specified number of turns given in table, hold in this position and tighten lock nut.NOTE: A-404 low-reverse band is not adjustable.
