Removal Procedure
WARNING:
Release the hose retainers as necessary.
- Radiator Surge Tank Bolt (1) - Remove
- Without draining the engine coolant and without disconnecting the hoses, remove and position aside the radiator surge tank (2).
Release the retainer (1) securing the 2 connectors (2, 3).
- Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect
- {If equipped} Electrical Connector (3) - Disconnect
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
Release the grommet (1).
- Retainer (2) - Release [2x]
{if equipped} Front Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (1) - Disconnect
{if equipped} Front Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt (1) - Remove
Retainer (1) @ Strut Assembly - Release
- Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt (2) - Remove
- Wheel Speed Sensor (3) - Remove
