Component Testing

Door Lock Switch

1. Vehicle OFF, disconnect the connector at the S47D Seat Adjuster Memory Switch.
2. Test for infinite resistance between each signal terminal listed below and the ground terminal 5 with the switch in the open position.
   • Terminal 7
   • Terminal 6
   • If less than infinite resistance 

     Replace the S47D Seat Adjuster Memory Switch.

   • Go to next step: If infinite resistance 
3. Test for 20 - 80 Ω between the signal terminal 6 and the ground terminal 5 while pressing the memory SET button.
   • If not between 20 - 80 Ω 

     Replace the S47D Seat Adjuster Memory Switch.

   • Go to next step: If between 20 - 80 Ω 
4. Test for 850-950 Ω between the signal terminal 7 and the ground terminal 5 while pressing the memory 1 button.
   • If not between 850-950 Ω 

     Replace the S47D Seat Adjuster Memory Switch.

   • Go to next step: If between 850-950 Ω 
5. Test for 2600-2800 Ω between the signal terminal 7 and the ground terminal 5 while pressing the memory 2 button.
   • If not between 2600-2800 Ω 

     Replace the S47D Seat Adjuster Memory Switch.

   • Go to next step: If between 2600-2800 Ω 
6. Test for 6250-6450 Ω between the signal terminal 7 and the ground terminal 5 while pressing the Exit button.
   • If not between 6250-6450 Ω 

     Replace the S47D Seat Adjuster Memory Switch.

   • Go to next step: If between 6250-6450 Ω 
7. All OK.
