Removal Procedure

    Windshield Wiper Arm Finish Cap (1) - Remove

    Windshield Wiper Arm Nut (1) - Remove

  3. Windshield Wiper Arm (2) - Remove
    4. NOTE:

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension (1) - Remove

    Hood Rear Outer Air Inlet Seal Retainer (1) - Remove

  6. Hood Rear Outer Air Inlet Seal (2) - Remove

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer (1) - Remove [8X]

  8. Windshield Washer Nozzle Hose @ Windshield Washer Pump Hose - Disconnect
  9. Air Inlet Grille Panel (2) - Remove
  10. Disable The Sir System. Sir Disabling And Enabling

    Pull Down The Windshield Garnish Molding (1) Rearwards To Release The Retaining Clips (2) From The A Pillar.

  12. Access The Windshield Garnish Molding Bolt (3) On The Backside Of The Windshield Garnish Molding (1).

    Windshield Garnish Molding (1) - Remove

    Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover Insert (1) - Remove

    Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover (1) - Remove

    Inside Rearview Mirror Bolt (1) - Remove

  18. Inside Rearview Mirror (2) - Remove

    Disconnect The Electrical Connector.

    20. NOTE:

    Observe The Mounting And Location Of The Front View Camera To Ensure Proper Reinstallation.

  20. Release The Retaining Tabs.
  21. Slide The Front View Camera (1) Upward To Release.
  22. Front View Camera (1) - Remove

    Disconnect All Electrical Connectors.

    24. WARNING:

    Refer To Eye Protection Warning .

  24. Windshield Outside Moisture/Ambient Light And Humidity Sensor (1) - Remove And Discard

    NOTE:

    Do Not Remove Or Service The Sensor Farm Pins.

    Front View Driver Information Camera Bracket (1) - Remove

  26. Release The Front View Driver Information Camera Bracket (1) Retaining Tabs And Slide The Bracket Upward To Disengage The Sensor Farm Pins.
  27. Gently Pull The Front View Driver Information Camera Bracket (1) Away From The Windshield.

    NOTE:

    Keep The Cutting Edge Of The Tool Against The Window.

    Use J-24402 - A  Glass Sealant Remover (1) Or Equivalent Regional Tools To Remove The Window.

    • Leave A Base Of Urethane On The Pinchweld Flange.
    • The Only Suitable Lubrication Is Clear Water.

    With The Aid Of An Assistant, Remove The Windshield (1) And Locating Pin (2) From The Vehicle.
