Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9)

    Retaining Tab (2) - Disengage [2x]

  3. Front Compartment Fuse Block Cover (1) - Remove

    Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose (2) @ Engine Control Module Bracket - Reposition

    Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Fastener (1) - Remove

  6. Retainer Spring (2) - Release
  7. Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube (3) @ Throttle Body Assembly - Reposition

    Disconnect the electrical connector.

  9. Throttle Body Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
  10. Throttle Body (2) - Remove
  11. Remove and DISCARD the throttle body gasket.
