Installation Procedure
Battery Charger Coupler (1) - Install
Front Compartment Upper Side Rail Brace (5) - Install
- Body Hinge Pillar Brace Bolt (4) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Bolt (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Coolant Inlet Hose (2) - Connect [2x]
- Retainer (1) - Engage [2x]
Wiring Harness (3) - Install
- Connect the wiring harness retainers as necessary. (2)
- Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Connect the electrical connector.
- Position the charge port housing (1) to the outer side panel.
- Press the charge port housing (1) to the outer side panel until fully seated.
- Using a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water with a clean towel, remove any left over adhesive residue from the masking tape.
Front Wheelhouse Liner - Left Side (1) - Install - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
Connect the wiring harness retainers as necessary.
- High Voltage Electrical Connector (1) - Connect - High Voltage Connectors
- NOTE:
Some components not shown for graphic clarity.
Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
High Voltage Electrical Connector (3) - Connect [2x] - High Voltage Connectors
- Retainer (2) - Install
- Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- High Voltage Electrical Connector (1) - Connect - High Voltage Connectors
Install the battery charger coupler manual release cable (2).
- Connect the wiring harness retainers as necessary. (1)
- Fill the drive motor battery cooling system. Drive Motor Battery Cooling System Draining and Filling
- Enable the high voltage system. High Voltage Enabling
