Removal Procedure

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  2. Pull rearward to clear the tab and remove the instrument panel outer trim cover (1).

    Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (1) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt(1) - Remove[3x]

    WARNING:

    When removing, handling or installing this component wear protective gloves. The sharp edges on the component may be very sharp and may cause injury.

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster(1) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Deflector Bolt (1) - Remove[4x]

  7. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Deflector (2) - Remove

    Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Control Module Bolt (1) - Remove

  9. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  10. Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Control Module (2) - Remove
