K111 Fuel Pump Power Control Module

The Fuel Pump Power Control Module is a serviceable GMLAN module. The Fuel Pump Power Control Module receives the desired fuel pressure message from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and controls the fuel pump located within the fuel tank to achieve the desired fuel pressure. The Fuel Pump Power Control Module controls the pump speed by modulating current flow through each of three phases of the fuel pump to the level the PCM is commanding. A liquid fuel pressure sensor provides fuel pressure feedback to the Powertrain Control Module.
