Removal Procedure

Engine Oil and Oil Filter - Remove - Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
Remove underbody panels as necessary. Underbody Panel Component Locator

{ If equipped } Front Cradle Brace Bolt (1) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
{ If equipped } Front Cradle Brace (2) - Remove

Lower Oil Pan Bolt (1) - Remove [17x]

NOTE:
- Use 4 M5 x 0.8 x 30 or longer bolts (1) in the provided jack screw (threaded inserts) in the oil pan. Tighten the jack screw by hand 1 to 2 turn each uniformly and move to the next screw until the oil pan has full separation from the lower crankcase extension.
- Use care not to damage the lower crankcase extension sealing surface.
Oil Pan (2) - Remove and DISCARD
Clean all sealing surfaces.

Disconnect the electrical connectors as necessary.
Oil Pump Flow Control Solenoid Valve Bolt (1) - Remove
Engine Oil Pressure Control Solenoid Valve (2) - Remove
