Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the high voltage system. High Voltage Disabling
  2. Drain the cooling system. Drive Motor Battery Cooling System Draining and Filling (RWL) , or Drive Motor Battery Cooling System Draining and Filling (XFD)

    Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Retainer (1) - Release

  4. Front Compartment Front Sight Shield (2) - Remove

    Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Retainer - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Release [2x]

  6. Front Compartment Side Sight Shield- Outer- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]

    Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Retainer- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Release [16x]

  8. Front Compartment Side Sight Shield- Inner- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]

    Front Compartment Center Sight Shield Retainer (1) - Release [8x]

  10. Front Compartment Center Sight Shield (2) - Remove

    Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.

  12. Front Trim Finish Compartment Support Retainer (1) - Release [2x]
  13. Front Trim Finish Compartment Support Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
  14. Front Trim Finish Compartment Support (3) - Remove

    Retainer (1) - Release

  16. Drive Motor Battery Charger Inlet Hose (4) @ Battery Charger - Remove
  17. Retainer (2) - Remove
  18. Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe Clamp (3) - Remove

    Retainer (1) - Remove

  20. Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Coolant Inlet Secondary Hose (2) @ Battery Charger - Remove

    Wiring Harness Clip (1) - Remove

    Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe Bracket Stud (1) - Remove

    Disconnect the electrical connectors.(1)

  24. Disconnect the wiring harness retainers.(2)

    Drive Motor Battery Charger Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  26. Drive Motor Battery Charger Ground Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
  27. Drive Motor Battery Charger Bracket (3) - Remove

    Radiator Outlet Hose Retainer (1) - Remove

    Drive Motor Battery Charger Bracket Nut (1) - Remove [2x]

  32. Drive Motor Battery Charger Bracket (2) - Remove [2x]
  33. Drive Motor Battery Charger Bolt (3) - Remove [4x]
  34. Drive Motor Battery Charger Adapter (4) - Remove [2x]
