Removal Procedure
Front Side Door Trim (3) - Remove - Front Side Door Trim Removal and Installation ((1WT / 1CX / 2CX) - (A6Q & A6R)) , or Front Side Door Trim Removal and Installation (A6Q & A6R) , or Front Side Door Trim Removal and Installation (- 1WT / 1CX / 2CX)
Outside Rearview Mirror Nut Access Hole Plug (1) - Remove
- Disconnect all electrical connectors.
- Outside Rearview Mirror Nut (2) - Remove [4x]
- Outside Rearview Mirror (3) - Remove
NOTE:
Leave 1 outside rearview mirror nut partially installed, secure the outside rearview mirror housing, and proceed to remove remaining outside rearview mirror nut.
