Removal Procedure

  1. Intake Manifold Cover - Remove - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement

    Remove the outer fuel pump insulator (2). Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement (Inner) , or Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement (Outer)

    Power Brake Booster Vacuum Hose(1)@Vacuum Pump - Disconnect - Power Brake Booster Vacuum Hose Replacement (LTG)

    Retainer(1)@Vacuum Pump(2) - Disconnect

  5. Electrical Connector(3)@Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - Disconnect
  6. Electrical Connector(4)@Camshaft Position Sensor - Disconnect

    Vacuum Pump Bolt(1) - Remove [2x]

  8. Vacuum Pump Bolt(2) - Remove
  9. Vacuum Pump(3) - Remove
  10. Vacuum Pump Gasket(4) - Remove and DISCARD
  11. Inspect the vacuum pump seal in the camshaft cover and replace it if damage is found. Camshaft Cover and Compressor Air Intake Turbocharger Cleaning and Inspection
