Installation Procedure
Install the chassis rear wiring harness extension harness (1).
Connect the 3 chassis rear wiring harness extension harness connectors (1).
Position the master chassis harness (4) into place.
- {If equipped} Position the air suspension air line (3) into place.
- Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
- {If equipped} Retainer (1) - Install [2x]
- CAUTION:
Chassis Rear Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Chassis Rear Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Chassis Rear Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Chassis Rear Wiring Harness Clip (1) - Install [2x]
- NOTE:
It may be necessary to raise rear suspension to create clearance for full removal/install of upper bracket bolt.
Chassis Rear Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Electrical Connector (1) @ Rear Parking Brake Actuator - Connect
- {If equipped} Electrical Connector (2) @ Rear Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor - Connect
Apply a light coat of wheel speed anti-corrosion grease to the rear wheel speed sensor (1) and mounting pad on the rear steering knuckle. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Rear Wheel Speed Sensor (1) - Install
Chassis Rear Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
- Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Steel Wheel) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Aluminum Wheel)
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
