Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the K17 Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM).
  2. Test for less than 5 Ω between the ground circuit terminals listed below:
    • Ground circuit terminal 13 and ground.
    • Ground circuit terminal 38 and ground.
    • If greater than 5 Ω 

      Test/repair the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.

    • Go to next step: If less than 5 Ω 

      Go to next step: Replace the K17 Electronic Brake Control Module
