Removal Procedure

  1. Prepare the trailer brake control module for removal. Control Module References
  2. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9)
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  4. Lower and reposition the spare tire.

    Electrical Connector (1) @Trailer Brake Control Module - Disconnect

    Trailer Brake Power Control Module Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
