Component Testing

  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. B153 Seat Belt Buckle - Unbuckled
  3. Test for less than 2 ohms between the test points: Component terminal 11 & 12
    • If not the specified state 

      Replace the component: B88 Seat Belt Switch

    • Go to next step: If the specified state 
  4. B153 Seat Belt Buckle - Buckled
  5. Test for infinite resistance between the test points: Component terminal 11 & 12
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the component: B88 Seat Belt Switch

    • Go to next step: If infinite resistance 
  6. All OK.
