Installation Procedure

    Rack and Pinion Steering Gear (3) @ Drivetrain and Front Suspension Crossmember - Install

  2. Steering Gear Bolt (2) - Install [2x]
  3. Steering Gear Nut (1) - Install [2x]
    4. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  4. Steering Gear Bolt (2) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Drive Motor Rear Mount (2) - Install

    6. CAUTION:

    Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution

  6. Drive Motor Rear Mount Frame Side Bolt (1) - Install NEW and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
  7. Lower the transmission down until the mount and bracket holes are aligned.

    Drive Motor Rear Mount Drive Motor Side Bolt (1) - Install NEW and tighten - Fastener Specifications

  9. Remove the engine hoist and lift hook.

    Automatic Transmission and Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Assembly (1) - Install - Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Removal and Installation

  11. Measure and adjust the front toe. Wheel Alignment - Steering Wheel Angle and/or Front Toe Adjustment
