Terminal Installation Procedure

  1. The terminal needs to be oriented correctly to the connector. The locking feature on the terminal must be lined up so that the locking finger on the connector can hold it in place.
  2. Insert the terminal all the way until an audible click is heard or felt.
  3. Gently pull on the wire to verify it is fully seated and locked in place,
    4. NOTE:

    If the TPA does not close with ease, verify all terminals are correctly seated. Using excessive force will damage the terminal and connector.

  4. Push the TPA down until it snaps into place and verify both latches have latched.
