Installation Procedure

    Instrument Panel Compartment Lamp (1) - Install

    Ensure the retaining tabs at the rear of the instrument panel compartment lamp (1) have fully secured.

  3. Secure the wiring harness to the side and rear retaining tabs.

    Secure the wiring harness to the upper retaining tab.

  5. Place the instrument panel compartment lamp (1) in position and rotate a quarter turn clockwise to secure.

    Rotate the instrument panel compartment door (1) towards the closed position until the side retaining tabs have full secured.

    With the instrument panel compartment door (1) open, engage the instrument panel compartment dampener tab (2) and ensure it has fully seated.

  8. Connect the electrical connectors.

    Instrument Panel Compartment (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [5x] Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  12. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Passenger Side (2) - Install
  13. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] Fastener Specifications
  14. Connect the electrical connectors.

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (1) - Install

  16. Install the tab into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator (1).

    Instrument Panel Insulator Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

  18. Connect and position the wiring harness.

    Close and lock the body control module bracket (2) into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator.

  20. Body Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Right Side (1) - Install

  22. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling .
