Terminal Installation Procedure

- Place the terminal in the correct position before inserting it into the connector housing (figure a). Terminal rows are oriented 180 degrees from each other (Figure b).
Insert the terminal into the cavity until an audible click is heard or felt. Gently pull on the wire to verify it has been fully seated.
Insert the terminal housing into the connector cover. Push it into the wire cover locking tab retainer (2) until the locking tab (1) is fully engaged (3).
Position the wires in the so they exit the connector cover and secure them to the wire cover using a plastic wire tie.
