Initialization/Teach Procedure

NOTE:
  • The closed switch (first detent) for either the slide or tilt buttons can be used for this procedure, but not pressed together.
  • If the switch is held for more than 10 seconds after the glass or sunshade has completed the Initialization/Teach Procedure, the sunroof may enter a "stuck switch" fault condition. If this happens, repeat the Initialization/Teach Procedure, making sure to release the switch when the sunroof glass panel has stopped moving.

1. Ignition ON and the glass panel is in full closed position.

2. Press and hold the close switch (first detent) of either the slide or tilt buttons for 10 seconds. The glass panel will open to vent, go to fully open, and then move to the fully closed position.

3. Once the sunroof glass panel has closed, release the switch.

4. Verify the operation of the sunroof window.
