Preliminary Procedures Air Cleaner Outlet Duct @ Air Cleaner Assembly - Disconnect - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement Intake Air Duct Replacement Disconnect the electrical connector. Unclip the wiring harness retainer from the air cleaner housing cover.
1	Air Cleaner Housing Cover Bolt [4x] CAUTION: Fastener Caution Tighten 1.6 N.m (14 lb in)

3	Air Cleaner Element Procedure Perform the air filter life system resetting. GM Air Filter Life System Resetting (with Scan Tool) , or GM Air Filter Life System Resetting (without Scan Tool)
