| Condition | A dealer may be unable to SPS program the Brake System Control Module (BSCM) or may find DTC's P0562 / P0606 setting in the BSCM that will not clear. DTC's can be present before or after BSCM replacement. |
| Cause | The cause of this concern could be Circuit 817 (vehicle speed sensor output from BSCM) shorted. |
CORRECTION
If a root cause is not found after following normal SI diagnostics, then gain access to the W12RCL?Blunt Cut - Left Rear Cargo Trim.
In some cases, the wiring harness may be pinched or have bare wires (as shown below.)
Repair/Replace any damaged circuits following normal SI wiring repairs.
If there is an aftermarket Upfitter device connected to circuit 817, disconnect it and evaluate for concern.
