Circuit/System Testing
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the connector at the appropriate X92 USB Receptacle. It may take up to 2 min for all vehicle systems to power down.
- Test for less than 10 Ω between the appropriate terminal and ground:
- X92BCL USB Receptacle - 3rd Row Seat Left = Terminal 2
- X92BCR USB Receptacle - 3rd Row Seat Right = Terminal 2
- X92C USB Receptacle - Center Console Rear = Terminal 4
- If greater than 10 Ω
Repair the open/high resistance on appropriate circuit or ground connection.
- Go to next step: If less than 10 Ω
- Ignition ON.
- Verify that a test lamp illuminates between the appropriate terminal and ground:
- X92BCL USB Receptacle - 3rd Row Seat Left = Terminal 1
- X92BCR USB Receptacle - 3rd Row Seat Right = Terminal 1
- X92C USB Receptacle - Center Console Rear = Terminal 6
- If the test lamp does not illuminate and the circuit fuse is good
- Test circuit 4701 for an open/high resistance.
- If an open/high resistance is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
- If an open/high resistance is not found, verify the fuse is not open and there is voltage at the fuse. Refer to Retained Accessory Power Malfunction .
- If the test lamp does not illuminate and the circuit fuse is open
- Test circuit 4701 for a short to ground.
- If a short to ground is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If a short to ground is not found.
- Replace the appropriate X92 USB Receptacle.
- Go to next step: If the test lamp illuminates
- Test or replace the appropriate X92 USB Receptacle.
