Install the assist step rod (1) to the assist step motor (2).

Assist Step Rod Bolt (1) @Assist Step Motor (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

Engage the assist step rear bracket (1) to the assist step rod (2).

Assist Step Bolt (1) - Loosely install [3x]
Assist Step Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

Assist Step Bolt (1) - Tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
Remove the assist step support jack.
Lower the vehicle.
