Accelerator Pedal Replacement

1	Accelerator Pedal Cover
2	Accelerator Pedal Bracket Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
3	Accelerator Pedal CAUTION: When installing the Accelerator Pedal do NOT use a mallet or excessive force on the pedal assembly or damage to the pedal assembly could occur, requiring replacement of the pedal assembly. Procedure Disconnect the connector from the accelerator pedal. Tilt the top of the accelerator pedal rearward. Slide the accelerator pedal back to disengage its lower retaining tabs.

Procedure

Disconnect the connector from the accelerator pedal.
Tilt the top of the accelerator pedal rearward.
Slide the accelerator pedal back to disengage its lower retaining tabs.
