Circuit/System Description

In order to prevent large in-rush current, high voltage is routed through a pre-charge resistor whenever high voltage is enabled, either for propulsion or plug-in charging. The hybrid/EV powertrain control module 2 monitors the time it takes the T18 battery charger bus voltage to attain the same level as the hybrid/EV battery pack voltage. If it takes too long, a DTC is set.
