Installation Procedure

    Battery (3) - Install

  2. Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Install
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  3. Battery Hold Down Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Battery Cover (1) - Install

  5. Connect the harness connector and retainers to the battery cover.

    Battery Hold Down Retainer (3) - Install

  7. Battery Hold Down Nut (2) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  8. Battery Hold Down Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (3) - Install

  10. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - Tighten - Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Replacement
  11. Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Cover (2) - Install
  12. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9)
