Installation Procedure
Install the front side door lock cylinder (2) into the front side door outside handle bracket assembly (3).
Insert the side door handle bracket locator (1) to the lock cylinder locking it into the front side door outside handle bracket assembly.
Connect the side door lock cylinder rod (1) to the cylinder.
- Install the front side door latch and side door outside handle bracket assembly as one into the vehicle. Refer to Front Side Door Latch Replacement .
- Ensure that the door lock system operates properly before installing the trim.
NOTE:
Ensure that the door lock cylinder is engage all the way into the locator tabs and the outside handle bracket. Insert the door key into the side door lock cylinder, turn the key to the left and right checking for binding before install the assembly in the vehicle.
