Remove the rear compartment lid latch release cable handle. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Latch Release Cable Handle Replacement

Rear Compartment Lid Latch Bolt[2x]

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
9 N. m (80 lb in)

Rear Compartment Lid Latch

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Slide the rear compartment lid latch to the left side and then remove.
