Removal Procedure
Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel-Right Side (2) - Remove - Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side (Coupe) , or Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side (Convertible)
Rear Floor Panel Carpet (2) - Remove - Rear Floor Panel Carpet Replacement
Front Floor Panel Carpet - Right Side (2) - Remove - Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement - Right Side
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Rear Body Fuse Block Cover (3) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable Extension Cable Fastener (2) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable Extension Cable (4) - Remove
- Release the retainers. (1)
Release the retainers. (1)
- Pull the battery positive cable extension cable into the passenger compartment.
Fuse Block Cover - (1) - Remove
Battery Positive Junction Block Cable Nut (1) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable Extension Cable (2) - Remove
- Retainer (3) - Disengage
- Reposition the radiator surge tank. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LGX) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LT1 LT4) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LTG)
Release the retainers. (1)
Release the retainers. (1)
- Remove the pass-through grommet (2).
- With the aid of an assistant, feed the battery positive cable extension cable (3) through the opening in the plenum and remove from vehicle.
