Installation Procedure

Install the battery negative cable (1) onto the battery current sensor (2) as shown.
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Install the battery negative cable to the frame rail and tighten the battery negative and positive cable ground nut (3) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Connect the body harness connector (1) to the battery current sensor (2).
Install the battery negative cable (4).
- Install the battery negative cable nut (2) and tighten the nut to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
- Install the body wiring harness cable (3).
- Install the body wiring harness cable nut (1) and tighten the nut to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
- Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
