Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery)

    Front Fender Rear Upper Brace (4) - Remove - Front Fender Rear Upper Brace Replacement

    Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Cover (1) - Remove

  4. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Remove
  5. Battery Positive Cable (3) - Remove
  6. Retainer Clip (4) - Disengage

    Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - Loosen

  8. Disconnect the wiring harness connector at the right side of the fuse block.

    Retaining Tab (1) - Disengage [2x]

  10. Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (2) - Reposition away - Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Replacement (with K4B, KHB)Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Replacement (NV8)Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Replacement (without K4B)

    Battery Hold Down Bolt (1) - Remove

  13. Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Remove
  14. Battery (3) - Remove
