Preliminary Procedure Remove the front side door outside handle bracket. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Bracket Replacement .
1	Front Side Door Outside Handle Rod Procedure Place the window in the full up position. Remove the water deflect or. Open the handle rod by releasing the clip at the end of the handle rod. Inorder to prevent outside handle lever pre-load, lock, outside handle, handle bracket and cover/cap shall be fully secured to the door prior to securing integral lock clip to outside handle rod. Integral lock clip shall be in the full up position while securing to outside handle rod. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Rod Adjustment . TIP: Inspect the door lock system for proper operation before installing the door trim panel.
