Installation Procedure

    Generator (2) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the 2 generator bolts (3) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  3. Install the generator nut (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

    Install the generator and starter cable (3).

  5. Install the generator and starter cable generator lead nut (2) and tighten to 12.5 N.m (111 lb in).
  6. Connect the generator wiring harness plug (1)
  7. Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (1.4L LE2) - Install
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Drive Belt Replacement - Install
  10. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection  - Connect
