Removal Procedure

Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection - Disconnect

Release the 2 retainers (2).
Remove the battery positive distribution cover (1).

Remove the battery positive cable bolt (1).
Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim - Remove
Radio Rear Compartment Speaker - Remove - Radio Rear Compartment Speaker Replacement
Fold the left rear seat down for easier access to the battery.

Release the 10 retainers (1).
Remove the cover (2).
Release the 3 retainers (4, 5).
Remove the cover (3).

Mark the position of the grommet at the positive cable with a line (1).

Remove the battery positive cable bolt (3).
Release the 6 retainers (1) and push the battery positive cable (2) through the body.
Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

NOTE:
For a better access, remove the wire tie through the wheelhouse.

Remove the bat positive cable wire tie from the plastic nut (1).

Retainer (1) - Unclip [3x]

Remove 3 wire tie retainers (1, 2) on the rear left body in front of the rear axle.

Move the complete battery positive cable through the body.

Remove the 6 battery positive cable retainer nuts (1).
