Removal Procedure

  1. Battery Negative Cable - Disconnect - Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover - Remove - Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover Replacement

    Radiator Surge Tank Bracket Clip (2) - Remove

  4. NOTE:

    Do NOT disconnect the engine coolant hoses.

  5. Radiator Surge Tank (1) - Reposition away

    NOTE:

    Cap the brake pipe fitting and plug the brake master cylinder outlet port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

    Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3) - Remove

    Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3) - Remove

    Electrical Connector (2) @ Electronic Brake Control Module (1) - Disconnect

  9. Unclip the wiring harness from the brake pressure modulator valve bracket.

    NOTE:

    Cap the brake pipe fittings to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

    Brake Pipe Fitting (2) - Loosen [4x]

  11. Bolt (1) - Remove
  12. Remove the electronic brake and traction control module and brake pressure modulator valve (3) along with the brake pressure modulator valve bracket from the vehicle.
  13. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket - Remove - Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement
