Installation Procedure

Front Lower Control Arm (1) - Install
Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt (2) - Install [2x]
- Front Lower Control Arm Rear Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
Front Lower Control Arm Front Bracket (2) - Install [2x]
- Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 120 N.m (89 lb ft)
- NOTE:
Use the J-42188-2A hex key or a suitable equivalent to hold the front lower control arm ball joint while tightening the steering knuckle nut.
Steering Knuckle Nut (1) @ Front Lower Control Arm - Install and tighten
- First Pass: 30 N.m (22 lb ft)
- Final Pass: (120 - 135 degrees)
- Front Compartment Air Deflector - Install - Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement
- Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- Lower the vehicle.
- Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Measurement
