Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems - Off
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector: Navigation Antenna Coaxial Cable @ K73 Telematics Communication Interface Control Module
  3. Connect the special tool: EL-49903 GM OnStar Antenna Diagnostic Tool Kit @ K73 Telematics Communication Interface Control Module
  4. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode - Infotainment System State - ON
  5. Verify DTC B2462 is not set.
    • If DTC B2462 is set 

      Replace the component: K73 Telematics Communication Interface Control Module

    • Go to next step: If DTC B2462 is not set 
  6. Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems - Off
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector: Navigation Antenna Coaxial Cable @ T2RR Antenna - Roof Rear
  8. Perform the following procedure/test: Coax Cable - Component Testing

    Verify the procedure/test passes.

    • Component Testing = Failed 

      Replace the component: Navigation Antenna Coaxial Cable

    • Go to next step: If the components test normal 
  9. Replace the component: T2RR Antenna - Roof Rear
