Disassemble Procedure

  1. Fig 1: Identifying Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Components

    Retainer (2, 5, 7) - Remove

  2. Fuel Pump Fuel Feed Hose (8) - Remove- Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  3. Remove the evaporative emission canister hose (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Evaporative Emission Rear Hose (3) - Remove- Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (6) and remove the fuel tank fuel pump module wiring harness (4).
  6. Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement  - Remove

    Fuel Tank Heat Shield (1) - Remove
