Installation Procedure
Fuel Tank Filler Pipe (1) - Install
Install the fuel tank filler hose (5) onto the fuel tank.
Make sure that the hose is fully seated on the fuel tank. Filler hose is correctly installed when the end of the hose is even with where the fill spud on the tank increases in diameter. The gap (1) between the tank and the end of hose will be (a) 6 mm (1/4 in) when hose is correctly installed.
- CAUTION:
Tighten the clamp. (4) 3.5 N.m (31 lb in)
- Remove all EN-6015 plugs from the connections.
- Connect the fuel tank vent pipe (3). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Remove all EN-6015 plugs from the connections.
- Connect the evaporative emission system vacuum leak pump filter pipe (6). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Retainer (1) - Install
Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Ground Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Wiring Harness Clip (2) - Install
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Install-Right Side
- Lower the vehicle.
Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Replacement - Connect
- Refill the fuel tank.
- Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection - Connect
